Would you like to be reduce the amount of toxic chemicals in your home? Are you worried what is in the products you bring home and how they affect your health, the health of your children and the planet too? Did you know that around 72% of our toxic exposure actually comes from the things we bring into our home?

Detox Your Home is a one day workshop in the Permaculture Life Series – a series of workshops that aims to give you practical knowledge, inspiration and skills for a more simple, sustainable and natural life.

In Detox Your Home we will explore the many practical ways to rid your home of chemicals. We'll go room by room looking at what ingredients and materials to avoid and get to know what are the better alternatives. Being a busy mum myself, I do understand that for this to work, it has to be quick, easy and effective.
During this workshop, we'll explore many alternatives to chemical-laden products and cleaners typically available and using a handful of basic home ingredients and things from the garden to make:
  • beeswax cloths
  • natural laundry wash
  • natural dishwash
  • natural surface cleaner
You'll be able to take samples of them all home and have the recipes to keep making them, and the skills to show others how to do it too.
