I grew what I thought was lemongrass a ...Hi Morag, <br />I grew what I thought was lemongrass a few years ago, it turned out to be citronella, I was more than a bit confused cause it looked like lemongrass but after smelling it I knew it wasn't lemongrass. I will have to plant another clump of it as I do make a lot of Thai dishes. After reading this post I will value it higher. I already have a fine turmeric plant so I'm slowly building up my perennials in the garden. I was offered a piece of sprouting ginger the other day and popped that into the garden. I love how easily these things grow in our climate.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
