I currently use a vinegar/dishwashing liquid/washing soda mix/eucalyptus mix for all my general household cleaning and Rhonda of Down To Earth blog's laundry liquid and soap recipes for washing and laundry use. They are very cost effective hence the appeal. How much do you find you spend on castile soap for all of the things you use it for? Liquid soap is liquid soap - never ever called castile unless its pure olive oil soap. Real castile is a low lathering mild soap and not suitable for most cleaning uses as coconut oil soap is better for dishes and cars and clothing washing. For skin a combination of oils makes a great lathery but mild soap. If you cant make your own - dont buy from the stores but find a local soapmaker who can supply you with real liquid or bar soaps and you will know you are supporting a craftsperson and helping your skin and enviroment. The method I use is to put a squirt of castile soap in the wash water and a splash of vinegar in the rinse water (not mixed). This is by far the simplest and most effective. our permaculture lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14902659828176897984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-801030191087496810.post-61280409953651906152017-02-18T08:40:22.645+10:002017-02-18T08:40:22.645+10:00Thanks for the information.
